Growing up in culinary rich and diverse India fuelled my love for food. Aer graduating in Bahrain and working for two years at the Arab Latin American Bank, I began my career in the family business – started by my father and his partner, a restaurant in Bahrain. The challenges and possibilities of this flourishing restaurant excited me and fed a growing passion for the wider Food Industry. Every aspect of running restaurants fascinated me and so I rolled up my sleeves to experience and learn as much as possible. Travelling far and wide opened my eyes, tested my palette and gied me the opportunity to explore the vast industry stretching out to all corners of the world. Five extraordinary years later – keen to build on what the traditional family business taught me, and inspired by what I had discovered in my personal culinary adventures – I decided I would start my own unique ventures.

My vision: A passion to serve, to create and develop new concepts. Our aim is to provide happiness and joy - through food, service and art.

Unique Restaurants was established in 2005 in Bahrain. It has since grown to Qatar, UAE and India. Now Unique owns 15 concepts, more than a dozen outlets and manages over 300 employees that shapes this business.

With over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Chef Harabilasha started his career with training in the Taj Hotels in India subsequently moving to various establishments like Hotels, Banquets and Flight Catering Units in different capacities. He also worked as a Chartered Chef to serve Air India One – the official aircra of Honorable Prime Minister of India. A HACCP certified professional, he brings in robust experience from hotels like Ramee Group and Al Safir group among others. In his current role as Corporate Chef, he oversees production, and guest satisfaction across the group.
